Abstract

In line with the era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, education for children requires special attention to nurture a knowledgeable and morally upright generation. This study examines the role and potential of electronic media in shaping children’s holistic development. Adopting a literature review methodology, various sources such as academic journals, theses, and research reports were thoroughly analyzed. The findings indicate that the responsible and constructive use of electronic media can significantly support children’s development across cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions. Conversely, excessive or unsupervised exposure to electronic media may
adversely affect their physical and mental well-being.
Therefore, the involvement of parents, educators, and robust
policy frameworks is essential to ensure the effective and
ethical use of electronic media in fostering a well-balanced
and prosperous generation.
